Infrastructure and development

Important infrastructure and development in the Eurobodalla region, south coast of New South Wales

No region in Australia can remain static, and to help the region move with the growing population, there will be significant upgrades and improvements to some infrastructure in the Eurobodalla, and an expansion of other services and facilities. Some of the important projects that will move the Eurobodalla forward include:

Surfbeach Bulky Goods Retail/Lifestyle Centre.
The creation of a lifestyle homewares centre for people to shop for electrical, outdoor, bedding and other large household items, all located in a well designed, relaxed, landscaped environment that reflects Eurobodalla's coastal lifestyle.

Batemans Bay Sewerage Treatment expansion.
This project diverts significant current and future sewage loads from the North Batemans Bay and Long Beach areas away from presently overloaded sewage pumping stations in the sensitive coastal areas of Batehaven, Caseys Beach and Surf Beach.

There are plans for the new WIMAX 4G high speed wireless broadband roll-out.

Another major project in the Eurobodalla area includes the continuation of Spine Road that connects the Batemans Bay By-Pass to the Princes Highway.
